A native of Detroit, Camille knew from the age of 13 that she wanted to live in NYC and moved to Brooklyn, NY to study fashion design at Pratt Institute immediately after high school.  After earning her BFA, she started off in women’s apparel but soon landed a position designing girls' apparel and found her true calling.

Her passion to bring newness to the market has been the cornerstone of her proven track record managing and executing garment design for the tween girl customer. She has designed for various price points ranging from contemporary apparel for department stores such as Bloomingdales and Nordstrom to mass market retailers Walmart and Target; as well as off-price and club channels Costco, Sam's Club, TJ Maxx, Burlington and Ross.

Along the way, Camille has expanded her design experience into other categories such as 3D design rendering, mommy+me/ family apparel, sleepwear, women's junior & contemporary apparel, athleisure, fine jewelry, handbags, and cold weather accessories.  She also earned a MBA degree in Entrepreneurship from Baruch College which honed her ability to apply critical thinking to the design process and cultivate collaborative design teams that take personal ownership and accountability for their work.

To stay abreast of evolving skills and practices in the fashion industry, Camille is currently focused on expanding her 3D design training and staying abreast of fashion's foray into key areas like gender neutrality and sustainability.
